Zambia Christian Nurses Benevolent Group (ZCNBG) takes protection of your data seriously and so is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Please read our privacy policy which will explain to you how we collect, use and protect the information you provide.

Information is shared with the Zambia Christian Nurses Benevolent Group via:

  • ZCNBG website
  • Give.Net
  • Stewardship
  • Newsletter sign up forms
  • Bank Direct Debit/Gift-Aid form
  • Event Attendance sign up

The information that is collected:

  • Name, Address, Church attended
  • Telephone number/Email address
  • Bank account details

Other ways that information is collected include correspondence with the ZCNBG board members, by volunteers and staff. Friends of ZCNBG give business cards to staff, volunteers and board members of ZCNBG.

Use of your information

The information gathered by ZCNBG is used to achieve the aims and objectives of the ZCNBG Charity and also is for the purposes of:

  • Sending newsletters out, notification of fundraising events, notification of meetings, thank you notes, etc
  • Administering any donations including;
    setting up Direct Debit and Gift Aid requests from HMRC (Lawful use)
  • Communicating with the ZCNBG Charity Trustees, staff, volunteers and other partners

Third Parties

ZCNBG will not sell, distribute or lease any of your personal information to third parties unless your permission is sought or we are required by law to do so.

Data Protection

ZCNBG employees and volunteers use this information appropriately. All data is stored on databases and paper records, Google drive, Stewardship (Give.net).

Data Security and Accuracy

As ZCNBG, we will do our best to ensure that all the individual personal data held by us is as up to date and accurate as possible.

As an individual, you have the right to request that ZCNBG erases or corrects any out-of-date, irrelevant or inaccurate information held by them about you. ZCNBG will take appropriate technical and organisational steps to facilitate the security of personal data about individuals.

Retention of data will be on ‘as long as’ required basis to carry out the above purposes.

Changes to the privacy policy

Any changes that are made to this privacy notice will be reflected on the ZCNBG website and where necessary through email communication.
